Together with 8 other European publications, Libertatea publishes an analysis by the Lost in Europe team of journalists, which reveals how tens of thousands of unaccompanied minor migrants continue to disappear from the sight of EU authorities. Romania does not even collect data on this group at risk of human trafficking and modern slavery, even though it is a transition country for migrants seeking to reach Western Europe.
