Two million children have left Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Not all of them can count on proper care. Do the EU member states monitor their fate? Do the law protect unaccompanied minors? As part of the journalistic project Lost In Europe, we checked what is happening with these unaccompanied refugee children. In Poland, they can count on help, but the family ministry hides data on unaccompanied minors.
