Large increase in the number of Latin American women who are sexually exploited in Belgium

Since the end of the corona crisis, more than 10 convictions have already been handed down in criminal cases for human trafficking, pimping or housebreaking involving Latin American victims. About 20 investigations are ongoing at local prosecutors' offices across the country. And just a week ago, there was news of the dismantling of an international prostitution network, active in Belgium, that recruited women in Colombia and Brazil.
