Distressing, unacceptable and shocking. That's what Second Chamber members are calling the situation of children and young people in emergency shelters after reading Lost in Europe's (in co-operation with BN de Stem, Eindhovens Dagblad and Brabants Dagblad) research. It shows that young asylum seekers feel extremely unsafe and neglected. National Rapporteur Human Trafficking and Sexual Violence against Children Conny Rijken says: "The first reaction is: shock. The second reaction is: again?!"
