Luggage on the grass, reception centre full: the situation in Ter Apel continues

Last month, the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) closed access to the registration centre in Ter Apel to a group of asylum seekers. Non-vulnerable men from places including Gaza, Yemen and Sudan were unable to enter because, according to the COA, the site had been “far too full for quite some time”.
