They live in the Netherlands, are building a life here, but officially belong nowhere. In the podcast Tales of Belonging, four women describe what it is like to live as a stateless person in the Netherlands and how Dutch laws and regulations contribute to exclusion.

Four women – Mona, Farah, Halima and Sarah – talk about statelessness in the Netherlands in the podcast Tales of Belonging. They know each other through the Stateless Rights Collective (SRC), the first and only collective in the Netherlands led by stateless people that campaigns for the recognition of the rights of stateless people. Through the podcast, they aim to gain recognition for their existence. Their aim is to raise awareness about statelessness and to show that they are more than just figures in policy reports or news articles.

In the three-part podcast, the women reflect on the impact statelessness has on their personal situations, what it is like to live in asylum centres for years, the challenges they and their children face, and how Dutch laws and regulations contribute to exclusion.
